Specialist Paints Metal Flakes are the HIGHEST grade you can buy, there are ultra thin, easy to smooth out and have outstanding sparkle. Our Metal Flakes are solvent proof and wont fade in sunlight as they have a high UV coating on them. we have had 1000's of customers use our flakes and continue using us all the time. Apply our Metal Flakes over any base color to produce a real custom effect. The Metal Flake can be added to solvent or water based Products, Clear base coats, Varnish and can also be used for Arts n Crafts.
Metal Flake is available in Medium (008 Hex) and Large (015 Hex).

Application:
Apply our Metal Flakes over any base color to produce a real custom effect. We recommend adding the Metal Flake to our Intercoat Clear base coat but you can add them to a Automotive solvent or water based Products, Clear base coats and Varnish. Depending on how heavy you want the flake effect, will depend on how much you will need.
Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job. (Sand, Prime, etc.)
Apply 2-3 coats of Base coat.
Add the Metal Flake to a Clear base coat or intended product and stir well.
Apply the Metal Flake until you get the effect you desire. Always spray test panels before spraying you product or project to see the effect you desire.
Apply our 2k Show Clear until the Metal Flake is fully covered and you have full Gloss.

Our Medium Flake
is our medium cut flake at
.008 x .008 Hex
. Medium flake size has a sparkling brilliance that is easy to use. Medium Metal Flake can be sprayed out of HVLP and conventional spray equipment with a minimum of 1.5 nozzle set-up or larger.
Our Large Flake
is our large cut flake at
.015 x .015 hex
. Large flake size has double the amount of sparkling brilliance of the Medium Metal Flake and has been used in the custom market for many years. Large can be sprayed out of HVLP and conventional spray equipment with a minimum of 1.8 nozzle set-up or larger.

Our Aerosol cans give high output with excellent Atomization and high transfer efficiency  with no pressure drop during application. Using our CANZ can save on time & labor with no paint mixing or Spray gun cleaning.
To get the best result from Kustom Canz range we recommend using our 2K CLEAR-COAT CANZ. 2K CLEAR-COAT CANZ is the best 2k aerosol on the market!!

Custom Paints Inc will accept returned items but items must be returned with in 14 days unused and in a resale-able condition. All items must be returned with out the bottle or tin being opened. Please contact us before returning any items. Thank you.
